Widya is a co-founder of BEVC and brings a blend of investing and operating experience. Her work spans early-stage startups, company creation, and venture capital. She previously led life sciences investing at B Capital, was part of the founding investment team at Red Tree VC, and served as Chief Business Officer at InterVenn, an AI-powered glycoproteomics company. She also held business development roles at Johnson & Johnson Innovation and has served on boards from research through commercialization.

Widya trained in Bioengineering and Materials Science at UC Berkeley and completed her PhD in Bioengineering at Stanford. She began her career in strategy at McKinsey & Co., working across healthcare, energy, and materials.

At heart, Widya is a scientist and builder. She finds deep fulfillment in partnering with technical founders and academic entrepreneurs. Outside of startups, she draws energy from tropical oceans, music, and education.
